Coventry looking to cut $400,000 more to balance school budget

Posted: Updated:

The school department in Coventry needs to make $400,000 in additional cuts in order to balance the budget.

After a meeting Wednesday night, School Committee Chair Katherine Patenaude said the school superintendent is going to hire a consultant to look at the finances.

She said they need to find a way to possibly renegotiate contracts with the bus company and food service.
