PROVIDENCE -

An East Greenwich woman was arrested and charged with driving intoxicated after her car allegedly struck a state police cruiser in Providence.

State police say troopers were helping a disabled motorist on Route 95 95 North near the Smith Street overpass just after midnight and their two cruisers were blocking a lane.

Officials allege 20-year-old Nicole DiLello drove around the first cruiser and hit the second one, which then struck the disabled vehicle.

No one was hurt.

An open bottle with a suspected alcoholic beverage was found in her car.
