Controversial plans for housing in Fall River

Posted: Updated:
FALL RIVER, Mass. -

Some Fall River residents say there's a plan to build low income housing at Watuppa Heights in Fall River. But some people say it violates state law.

Right now apartments are planned for the sight where a housing project once stood.

But a 2002 law says single family homes have to be built on the site not apartment blocks.

Residents say they will take their complaint to the Housing Authority.
