A man faces charges after Richmond police said he was driving drunk and speeding.
Police said 21-year-old Matthew Babik was driving 98 mph in a posted 30 mph zone at about 2:10 a.m. on Saturday. He was stopped on Church Street.
Police said he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after performing a series of field sobriety tests.
Babik was given a chemical breath test which yielded a blood alcohol count of .217 and .215. The legal limit is .08.
Babik was given a summons to appear in district court on July 10.
