Tiverton warns residents to secure property

TIVERTON, R.I. -

Tiverton Police are warning residents about a rash of car breaks and other property related crimes.

Between May 20th and June 8th, there were 14 vehicle break-in reports and there were another 9 reported this week.

There were also three breaking and entering reports, nine larceny incidents, a motor vehicle theft and a home invasion.

Tiverton Police remind resident to secure their property and report any suspicious individuals in the neighborhoods.

The most recent car breaks occurred in the early morning hours and were in the area of Horizon Dr., Cliff St., Chace Ave, Borden Rd. and Kaufmann Rd.
