Bike MS: 'Ride the Rhode' kicks off June 21

Posted: Updated:
PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Hundreds of cyclists will bike their way around Southern New England - riding more than 150 miles over two days - as part of 'Bike MS: Ride the Rhode', a fundraiser for the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The two-day event, June 21-22, raises around $700,000 each year.

'Ride the Rhode' begins in Pawtucket on June 21, and ends 75 miles later in Norton, MA.

Riders will be greeted with a beer tent, and barbecue.

After an overnight stay, they'll ride back, another 75 miles, along a different route.

The ride is considered easy-to-moderate with various riding conditions and some rolling hills.
