Ninth and 10th-grade students from the Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts are planning to march through Providence to raise awareness about climate change.
The march on Friday is designed to inform the community about the effects of global warming, fracking, carbon emission and clean energy.
It's being called an "arts integration project," that combines science, theater, dance and music. Students will wear costumes, perform skits and dance throughout the parade.
They'll also be joined by the Big Nazo puppets, and the Extraordinary Rendition Band will perform.
The march begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Academy on Messer Street and ends at Classical High School at 3:30 p.m.
