CRANSTON, R.I. - A short film aimed at interesting youngsters in the history of D-Day was partially shot in Rhode Island and has now been brought overseas to Normandy by retired Lt. Col David Accetta of Cranston.

The award-winning film "Half Pint" will be shown at places including Battleship Cove in Fall River, Mass., and the Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket, RI.

Accetta brought the film to Normandy as part of a Liberty Jump team re-enacting the landings on D-Day in France.
