A Federal Express truck rolled over on Interstate 95 south Thursday morning causing a traffic delay for almost two hours.
A FedEx truck rolled over on Interstate 95 south near exit 18 Thursday morning and caused a traffic delay for almost two hours.
The accident happened at about 8:45 a.m.
Traffic northbound and southbound from exits 14-25 was stopped. It took crews about two hours to clear the scene.
Capt. Robert Wall of the Rhode Island State Police said a car struck the rear of the FedEx truck causing it to roll over. While the FedEx t ruck was rolling over, it struck another car, which hit a Jersey barrier causing some of the barrier to go into the northbound lane.
Several people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
