FREETOWN, Mass. -

A 20-year-old woman was rescued from a rock quarry in Freetown State Forest after police said she fell while trying to spray paint a ledge.

Freetown police and fire crews were called at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to help Hailey Meiggs, who fell nearly 70 feet onto rocks, just above a small body of water.

Police used its all-terrain vehicles to transport team members and equipment to the area. The team rappelled to the girl's location and transferred her into a boat located at the base of the ledge.

Meiggs was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was in good condition.
