An East Greenwich native and her boyfriend were killed in a plane crash in South Carolina.

Emergency crews found the bodies of 22-year-old Anisa Rossi and 24-year-old Ericson Davis in an overturned plane. Davis was a U.S. Marine.

Authorities said the plane left Wilmington, North Carolina, on Friday morning when it went down 10 miles from the Chester Catawba Regional Airport in Chester, South Carolina, in a wooded area. Chester is 50 miles southwest of Charlotte, North Carolina.

The plane was reported missing Sunday night.

It took crews until Monday afternoon to reach the wreckage.

The plane was registered to Warriors to Wings Aero Club, an organization made up of current and former aviation professionals.
