Driver charged in Exeter rollover

EXETER, R.I. - The driver of a vehicle lost control of the vehicle and caused it to roll over on Sunday night in Exeter.

Rhode Island State Police said that at approximately 10 p.m. Robert Curran, 24 of Exeter, was driving along Glen Rock Road when his vehicle crashed and rolled onto its roof.

The passenger, Jennifer Curran, 27 of North Kingstown, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Jennifer Curran is the sister of the driver.

Robert Curran was uninjured and charged with DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

He was held overnight at the Rhode Island State Police Barracks in Hope Valley and will be arraigned by a Justice of the Peace on Monday.
