John Silveira faces 11 counts following a house party in Attleboro.
According to police this is not the first time they have been called to the Attleboro apartment
ATTLEBORO, Mass. -
An Attleboro man is charged with sexually assaulting two teenage girls at his house party. The suspect now faces 11 charges.
Neighbors told NBC 10 that on Friday night, Silveira was hosting a party in his second-floor apartment. They said he provided the booze and drugs, and his roommate told NBC 10 that Silveira started touching a young girl who was asleep. That's when other teen males in the home started fighting with him. The fracas caused his neighbors to call the police.
This is not the first time police have visited the residence. According to neighbors, when police arrived this time, everyone inside fled down this street across the way and hid until officers flushed them out.
Silveira was charged with several crimes including assault and battery, breaking and entering, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 years old, procuring liquor for a person under 21, and keeping a disorderly and noisy house. He was held on $5,000 bail and will be arraigned Tuesday in Attleboro District Court.
