NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -

The elephants at the Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford have some new toys thanks to students at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Friday was the culmination of the school's 4th Annual Toys for Elephants project.

Students designed contraptions for the zoo's two elephants, Emily and Ruth.

Organizers said the projects highlights the good work of the students, and it enriches life in captivity for the animals.
