Firefighters removed two squatters from a home that caught fire in Providence.
The fire was reported on Hollis Street at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Officials said the fire started in the backyard and spread to the house.
According to witnesses, fire officials removed two squatters from the two-story house. Witnesses said they did not appear to be injured.
Neighbors told NBC 10 that squatters often use the vacant home.
