Pawtucket residents can speak directly to mayor

PAWTUCKET, R.I. -

The initial round of Mayor’s Community Meetings will be held in schools throughout Pawtucket beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Flora S. Curtis Elementary School.

The meetings offer an ongoing opportunity for residents, business people or any member of the public to express any concerns, problems or ideas regarding the city, directly to Mayor Don Grebien.

Other scheduled meetings are: May 6, Goff Junior High School, 974 Newport Ave.; May 8, Fallon Memorial School, 62 Lincoln Ave.; May 13, Francis J. Varieur Elementary School, 486 Pleasant St.; May 20, Elizabeth Baldwin Elementary School, 50 Whitman St.; and May 22, Nathanael Greene Elementary School, 285 Smithfield Ave.

A second round of community meetings will be held in October.
