A high school student with Down syndrome recently learned he has been accepted to college, KGO-TV reports.

Noah Van Vooren's parents captured the moment their son read his acceptance letter to Edgewood College in Wisconsin on video. The accomplishment has since been posted on YouTube and viewed more than 500,000 times.

"It says, ‘Dear Noah, yes, you made.' I got accepted," the teen shouts.

Van Vooren's acceptance to the college is part of the university's "Cutting Edge" program that offers courses to students with developmental disabilities.

KGO-TV contributed to this report.
