A dog that was abandoned in Haines Park in Barrington has been adopted.

The white husky mix was found in the pouring rain tied to a guardrail, steps away from a dog park.

The East Providence Animal Shelter has been taking care of the dog, but now he has a home with a Warwick couple.

Barrington police are still looking for the person who abandoned the dog.
