A Warren man wanted in connection with stabbing another man in the stomach surrendered, Rehoboth police said Wednesday.

Dennis Arruda, 18, was arraigned in Taunton District Court and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

On Sunday, police were called to Agricultural Avenue in Rehoboth for a report of a stabbing.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, told police that he had been stabbed, and that his attacker had left. The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

Investigators were able to interview witnesses and later identified Arruda as the attacker.
