WARWICK, R.I. -

Police on Wednesday released the name of a man whose body was found in a wooded area of Warwick.

Police told NBC 10 the body of Joseph Graham, of West Warwick, was discovered down an embankment of Toll Gate Road near Route 2. Police said there were no signs of trauma or foul play.

The body was found near trailer park, but people there said they didn't know the man.

"Basically it's kind of a mystery. It's scary. First thing we asked a policeman there was, 'Do we have anything to be worried about?' And he said, 'No, no.' It's a terrible place to find somebody. How long he was there, you know?" said neighbor Louise Blackwood.

"It surprised us, because it's a very nice, quiet place. We never had nothing like this before," said Ilda Fagundes.

The medical examiner's office will be performing an autopsy.
