Man charged with 3 Foxborough bank robberies

Posted: Updated:
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Foxborough police have arrested a man they describe as a serial bank robber.

Police say 24-year-old Nicholas Grover was arrested at his home Sunday without incident after evidence was discovered linked to the three recent Foxborough center area bank robberies. Police seized clothing and U.S. currency

Grover is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Wrentham District Court on three counts of unarmed robbery and one count of trespassing. It's not clear if he has a lawyer.

Police tell The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro they think Grover is responsible for robberies at Foxboro Federal Savings on Dec. 20; Rockland Trust on Jan. 29; and Foxboro Federal Savings on March 31.

In all three of the bank robberies, the suspect fled the area on foot.
