Westerly Police arrest teen suspected of library breaks

WESTERLY, R.I. - Westerly Police arrested a teen in connection with recent break-ins at the Westerly Library.
Shane M. Kenner, 18, was charged with two felony counts of breaking and entering a building with criminal intent, and two misdemeanor charges of larceny under $1,500.
The breaks allegedly occurred in February, with one of the incidents involving police surrounding the library on Broad Street with guns drawn.
Kenner is believed to have stolen petty cash of about $70 and a Kindle.
He is expected to be arraigned in 4th District Court on April 14
