NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -

A New Bedford High School student faces charges after police said he threw a chair at a school administrator.

Kemar Roselus, 18, faces charges of assault by means of a dangerous weapon to a person over 60, disturbing a school and malicious destruction of property.

Police said the incident happened on March 24 and was not reported until Monday, when the video was made public on YouTube.

The video shows Roselus becoming angry after a school administrator refused to give him his cell phone back. He threw a chair that hit a desk near the administrator.

The New Bedford school superintendent said she is appalled by the video and the behavior of the student.
