Cranston police said Friday that they arrested four people in connection with a home invasion of a marijuana care giver.

Police said one of the suspects barged into an Eden Park home at about 8 p.m. Thursday. The man waved a gun, claimed to be a police officer and demanded money.

A resident of the house let loose some dogs that chased away the intruder. Police said the gunman jumped into a car that took off.

An officer stopped the car when it crashed into his cruiser at the corner of Park Avenue and Potter Street.

Two men and a 17-year-old in the car were arrested. One suspect ran, but was found in some bushes.

Calvin Johnson, 37, of Pawtucket, was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, resisting arrest, reckless driving and eluding police, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Jodi Johnson, 42, of Providence, and the juvenile suspect were charged with first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery. Police said they believe Jodi Johnson was the man with the gun.

Curtis Gomes, 18, of Providence, was charged first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.

The three adults were ordered held without bail. The juvenile's case went to Family Court.
