ATTLEBORO, Mass. -

The singing students from Warwick Vets High School took home $1,000 for their music department Thursday night.

It was the finals for the Cardi’s Furniture, Cat Country 98.1 and NBC 10 Southern New England Sing Off.

North Smithfield, East Providence and Bishop Hendricken also competed in the singing competition. Each school takes home music program scholarships worth $500.

Our own Tech Reporter Molly O'Brien hosted the event.

The audience and judges were treated to a wide variety of music, jazz, country and pop. Songs ranged from Bob Dylan to Slum Dog Millionaire.
