Skakel allow to move GPS bracelet to allow ski boot

Posted: Updated:

Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel will be allowed to re-locate his ankle bracelet so he can attend his son's ski competition.

He was released from prison last year after he was granted a new trial in the 1975 murder of his neighbor.

Skakel has been wearing a GPS device around his ankle, but he wasn't able to put on a ski boot to get to the top of the mountain to see his son ski.

So he's been given permission to have the GPS moved to a different place on his body.
