Fall River man wins $1M on scratch ticket

CRANSTON, R.I. - A Fall River man became a millionaire overnight Monday.

Edward Pinkoski won $1 million on a scratch ticket in the Massachusetts Lottery's "Nutcracker Cash."

According to lottery officials, Pinkoski chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000 after taxes.

Pinkoski said he plans to pay off some debt, help out his family and buy a new car.
