A West Warwick man convicted of driving on a suspended license 24 times was arrested again.
Police said Paul Rocha, 51, was arrested Friday night when officers observed him driving improperly on Cowesett Avenue. They said Rocha failed field sobriety tests.
Rocha was charged with driving under the influence, habitual offender suspended license, refusing a breath test and driving after suspension for driving under the influence.
Rocha was arraigned Tuesday in Kent County District Court and held without bail as a probation violator.
Police said Rocha has been convicted of drunken driving three times.
