FALL RIVER, Mass. -

A man in Fall River died from his injuries after police say he was run over by a truck he was working on.

According to police, 47-year-old Allen Jarabek was working on a truck at about 9 a.m. Saturday at his company at Ground Earth Inc. Police said at some point, the truck rolled over him.

He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital. He died from his injuries on Monday.

Police said accident reconstruction teams as well as a state police team are investigating the accident. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is also looking into the accident.

Jarabek was known for owning Ground Earth Inc. and three other businesses in Fall River. He also maintained some of the city's vehicles.

In 2010, the Jarabek Diagnostic and Treatment Center was named to honor Jarabek’s father who died of cancer.

Jarabek's family has asked that donations made in his memory go to the cancer center.

Jarabek, a father of four, also enjoyed collecting classic cars and spending time with his family.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday at Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest in Swansea.
