Posted: Updated:

The United Way of Rhode Island is accepting grant applications for its Olneyville Community Fund.

$100,000 in grants are available for organizations that provide services within the Olneyville neighborhood in Providence.

The United Way moved to Olneyville in 2008 and began a commitment to play a role in the ongoing development of the area.

The deadline to submit an application is Friday, January 24 at 4 p.m.

The grant winners will be notified sometime in April upon decisions made by the Olneyville Community Fund Advisory Committee and members of the United Way Board of Directors.

An application can be found at www.uwri.org/our-work/olneyville-community-fund.
