Store, gas station held up 90 minutes apart

Attleboro police are investigating two robberies that happened about 90 minutes apart.

Two men held up the Dodgeville Country Store on South Main Street at about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

One man showed a gun and demanded cash, while the other acted as a lookout. They fled on foot, and a K-9 search of the area turned up nothing.

Police said they are reviewing surveillance video and pursuing several leads.

The second robbery happened at about 9:30 p.m. at a Shell station on South Avenue about 2 miles away.

Police said they do not think the two robberies are related.

Attleboro police said anyone with information about either robbery should call city detectives.
