Body of missing Brown student found in Falmouth

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. -

Authorities say they've found the body of a Brown University student who disappeared during a duck-hunting trip off the Massachusetts coast on New Year's Eve.

Fairhaven police says the body of 21-year-old Dana Dourdeville of Marion washed ashore in Falmouth. It was discovered by a volunteer search party.

Police say there is no evidence of trauma but an autopsy is planned.

Dourdeville never returned from a duck-hunting trip on Dec. 31. His mother found his car parked at West Island State Beach, and the U.S. Coast Guard found his kayak about 2 1/2 miles east of West Island.
