The clever confectioners at LaSalle Bakery are ready for Saturday night's Patriots game, and they have whipped up some Patriots-themed goodies for your party.
NBC 10 stopped by LaSalle Bakery Saturday afternoon where the confectioners talked about the goodies they had on hand; "we have our signature football cake, which is yellow cake dipped in dark chocolate there, that's delicious. We made a couple of quarter sheet cakes with the Patriots logo, and we have jersey cookies for the kids."
The bakery packed with patrons as usual this Saturday afternoon, as their culinary creations are on display and ready for action.
Steven Dwire, LaSalle Bakery, told NBC 10 "it's good to bring the community around. Everyone likes the Patriots. It gets everyone excited about the football season. People like to get together and have their parties. We like to take a little bit of the work out for you and we provide all these delicious foods so you can just worry about having a good time."
With everyone hoping a Patriots win will bring a good time around here that Patriots fans have gone a long time, as long as the bakeries gigantic sandwich, since a championship has been won in Foxboro.
So while fans may be worried about the game, LaSalle Bakery has made sure they don't have to worry about game time food; as Dwire told NBC 10 "we got the sandwiches covered. This is our gigantic Italian grinder, big enough for any party."
And of course there are cookies for the kids. They can literally eat the jersey of their favorite player; bringing a championship tradition from LaSalle Bakery into your home.
