Posted: Updated:

The weather believed to be the culprit in causing a burst pipe and significant flooding inside Providence Police headquarters on Saturday.

NBC 10 was on scene as plumbers and cleanup crews worked in the relatively new building.

Providence Police tell NBC 10 that a sprinkler pipe burst and partially flooded 3 floors.

Cleanup crews were still on scene working Sunday afternoon, but according to Major David Lapatin the station is up and running like normal.
