U.S. Rep. Cicilline's car broken into, gifts stolen

CRANSTON, R.I. -

U.S. Rep. David Cicilline said thieves broke into his car and stole Christmas gifts for his family.

Cicilline tweeted about the bad fortune Tuesday night.

Aside from the gifts, his briefcase and wallet were stolen while it was parked outside Loie Fullers on Westminster Street.

Some work items were also taken.

Cicilline said his family members were very understanding on Christmas morning.
