Eleven people left homeless after house fire

The American Red Cross was asked to provide shelter for 11 people  who were burned out of a three-story home in Providence early Saturday morning.

Chief James Mirza told NBC 10 the fire at 25 Marshall Street was called in at about 1:30 a.m.

Chief Mirza says the fire started in the back of the building.

No one was hurt, but the home sustained moderate damage.
