Investigators spent Wednesday trying to find the cause of an early-morning house fire in Providence.
A fire was reported at about 2:30 a.m. at a home on 23 Baxter Street.
No one was inside the house at the time of the fire and there was no electricity to the house.
The landlord told NBC 10 the tenants had been evicted earlier this month and were in the process of moving out.
One firefighter was treated at the hospital for a minor injury after slipping at the scene. He's been released.
