A chance run-in with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has cost two Houston men their jobs.
Joel Williams, a security guard at Reliant Stadium, was about to clock out when he ran into Brady following the Patriots' 34-31 win over the Texans.
Brady posed for pictures with Williams and a co-worker, and that's when the trouble started.
"Immediately after I took the picture, I get ran down by a supervisor. They didn't really give a reason. They said, ‘You know. You know you're wrong and you're fired,'" Williams said.
The security company released a statement about the firings that said company policy prohibits employees from asking for pictures with players.
Williams, a graduate student, said he'll miss his part-time job at the stadium.
