Radio station begins holiday music 24/7 through Christmas

Posted: Updated:

Radio station B101 changed its format to all holiday music beginning Wednesday.

In a statement to NBC 10,  Program Director Bill George said the format will include holiday favorites from artists like Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole along with recent favorites from Mariah Carey and Trans Siberian Orchestra.

"After all the ups and downs of the past year, we felt it was a good time to spread some cheer," says George. "Besides, with the Red Sox' win last week, it already feels like Christmas has come early."

The station will continue with the holiday music 24/7 through Christmas Day.
