FALL RIVER, Mass. -

A fire in Fall River that damaged several storage units was deliberately set, investigators said Tuesday.

Fire crews and police were called to a report of a fire at U-Haul Storage Units at 110 Lewiston St. at 1:18 a.m.

When crews arrived, one storage unit was fully engulfed in fire.

The fire spread to at least seven units before it was brought under control.

During their investigation, police found at least 22 storage units had been broken into. They said the locks on the units had been pried open.

Police said some storage units contained a Jeep, motorcycles and an all-terrain vehicle. According to police, the value on the loss of property was estimated between $40,000 and $50,000.
