A Providence man was indicted Tuesday for holding up a convenience store in Central Falls.
Jason Dias is charged with first-degree robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Dias allegedly robbed the Kandel Food Shop in August and pointed a sawed off shot gun at a pregnant clerk.
While leaving, authorities say he fired the gun in the clerk's direction.
Nearby witnesses tackled him and held him down until police secured the scene.
The arraignment is set for Oct. 29.
