The parents of a 13-year-old boy have filed a report with the Barrington Police Department claiming that a school bus driver assaulted their son.
According to police, the boy's parents said their son had blood on his teeth and that the bus driver had blood on his hand, according to EastBayRI.com.
They said they could see marks on the boy's face however police said they could find no marks on the boy.
Officers contacted First Student, the transportation company that runs the buses for the Barrington School Department. An official with the company said the boy actually attacked the bus monitor.
Police and public school officials are still investigating.
No arrests have been made.
