A New Bedford man and a woman from Hyannis are being charged in connection with an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store on Rockdale Ave. Thursday morning.
Police say Aaron Brito, 31, entered the story shortly after midnight, and demanded money.
The Cape Cod Times reports Brito appeared to have a gun in his pocket, but it was never shown during the robbery.
The pair fled in a getaway car.
The paper says Brito and a second suspect, Marranda Marin, 22, ditched the car, and were arrested following a foot pursuit.
Police told the paper they have recovered the stolen money.
Brito is charged with armed robbery while masked, and other charges.
Marin is being charged as an accessory.
