New Bedford library trustees don't renew director contract

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -
Library trustees in New Bedford voted Wednesday not to renew the director's expired contract. Wednesday's vote was unanimous.
Stephen Fulchino was placed on administrative leave after the Mayor's office reported that dead people's library cards were used to check out close to 200 books. Many books were overdue and had run up about $4,000 dollars in charges.
