A clerk magistrate in Taunton District Court found probable cause to charge a teenager in connection with a Labor Day crash in Easton that killed a man and his dog.
Colin O'Hearne, 17, was charged Monday with motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation. He was also charged with speeding and marked lane violations.
O'Hearne is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Oct. 28.
O'Hearne is accused of hitting and killing 71-year-old George Power, who was walking his dog on Summer Street.
O'Hearne plays football and lacrosse at Oliver Ames High School.
The victim was the husband of Christine Power, who runs the Oliver Ames physical education department.
