The chairman of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority says the agency's website is secure, despite an error message users may have seen this week.
The anti-tolling website donttoll.com posted a message to readers that claimed RITBA's website security certificate had expired.
Drivers can use the site to monitor their E-ZPass accounts.
NBC 10 asked RITBA Chairman David Darlington about the problem, which he called a "glitch."
Darlington said the RITBA was aware of the problem and that it had been fixed as of 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Darlington said the organization was assured there was no problem with unapproved access to information.
