A 17-year-old South Easton man who was driving a car that police said struck and killed a man and a dog will face a hearing to determine if charges will be filed.
Police said Colin O'Hearne struck 71-year-old George Power of North Easton and his dog on Summer Street at about 9:20 a.m. Monday. Power died at Good Samaritan Hospital. His dog was also killed.
O'Hearne was served with a criminal complaint and will appear before a clerk magistrate on Sept. 23 for a probable cause hearing.
The magistrate will determine if O'Hearne will be charged.
