More complaints against an accused stripper

PROVIDENCE -

The Providence stripper facing rape allegations in Massachusetts has been the subject of complaints before.

31-year-old Patrick Ladapo was in court in Wareham Thursday.  He's accused of raping two women at a party in that town, where he was hired to perform.

And the NBC10 I-Team learned that he faced a sexual assault allegation in Providence 5 years ago.  The police report states a woman claimed she was on a date with Ladapo and he touched her against her will.  The woman declined to file an official complaint and Ladapo was not charged.

Now a woman came forward to NBC10, claiming her daughter has now gone to Providence Police to complain about Ladapo.  She asked that her name not be revealed.  She said, "This man has been harassing her and bothering her while she attempts to live her quiet life.  He steps in front of her, he touched her, he put his arm around her neck and made her feel like she lost the power that she had.  He made he feel afraid."

Ladapo is now free after posting $20,000 bail in the Wareham case.

Prosecutors there claim he offered the two women private lap dances in a bedroom, then blocked the door with a chair.

Ladapo's lawyer argued his innocence, saying the women may have had a conversation after Ladapo left and then turned on him.
