A New Hampshire-based developer is moving ahead with plans to redevelop the former American Tourister factory in Warren into a building housing apartments and office space.
The Providence Journal reports that Brady Sullivan Properties plans to build 225 apartments and 85,000 square feet of commercial space.
The factory, with its prominent Samsonite signs, occupies a riverfront location on Warren's Main Street.
Brady Sullivan Properties is based in Manchester, N.H. The project was one of 41 that had applied for historic tax credits but came in last when state tax officials held a random drawing earlier this week to select the projects that would get the credits.
