Providence firefighters report an early morning house fire on Waterman Street was accidental.
Jeff Varone, Acting Providence Battalion Fire Chief, told NBC 10 it appeared the fire at 198 Waterman Street started in the back of the four unit home at around 3:15 a.m.
Varone said the occupants were awakened by the fire alarms, and everyone made it safely out of the home.
Providence firefighters say no one was hurt, from a Thursday morning house fire.
The first calls for 198 Waterman Street sounded at around 3:15 a.m.
A firefighter told NBC 10 it appeared the fire started in the back of the two and a half story home.
